Easy BBQ meal for maximum weight loss is what I will be sharing with you today. This easy BBQ meal uses a simple BBQ sauce for all 3 recipes. You can eat them separately or you can combine all 3 like I show you here today.
Here is what you will need for this easy BBQ meal that is also starch solution compliant for maximum weight loss!
Ingredients for BBQ sauce
2 T tomato paste
2 T coconut aminos
2-3 T of maple syrup
1 tsp white vinegar
1/4 tsp each of garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika and salt
18 tsp liquid smoke
squeeze of lemon
whisk together all the ingredients and set aside.
1 can chickpeas rinsed and drained
2 T BBQ Sauce
Place chick peas in a bowl and add the BBQ sauce, mix carefully until all the chick peas are coated.
Place on a lined baking sheet and bake in a pre-heated 400 degree oven for 20 minutes and then broil for 3-4 minutes to add some crispness.
When done set aside and let cool.
2 pre steamed potatoes
2 T BBQ Sauce
Cut up the potatoes into chunks and place in a bowl, then add BBQ sauce and season with a little more onion and garlic powder. Toss carefully until all potatoes are coated. Place in air fryer basket and cook @ 400 degrees for 12-13 minutes. When done set aside and let cool.
BBQ Tahini dressing
1/2 cup tahini
2 T BBQ sauce
2 1/2 T maple syrup
1/4 cup water
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp each onion powder and garlic powder
squeeze of lemon
Mix all ingredients together and set aside
To put this all together add 2 big handfuls of spring mix. I like to use kitchen shears or a knife to cut lettuce in to smaller pieces, it makes it easier to eat. Add ! Tablespoon of dressing and toss well, when you think you have tossed it well keep tossing, this will distribute the dressing evenly. Add cucumber, cherry tomatoes and red onion or whatever you like in your salads. . Then add BBQ Chickpeas and potatoes to the salad and add another tablespoon of the dressing. Toss and enjoy.
